Thaddeus B. Kubis, a seasoned photographer with diverse expertise, boasts a rich background in various sectors, including Travel and Leisure, Manufacturing, Banking, Financial Services, and Fine Art. Passionately embracing the mantra “Stop taking pictures and start creating fine art images,” Thad is not only a skilled photographer but also an active instructor and consultant. Thad imparts knowledge on smartphone, DSLR, film, large format, composition, and more, both in-person and via online platforms like Zoom, catering to individuals and groups.
With 25 years of experience as a photography instructor, Thad has crafted workshops ranging from Garden Photography to Smartphones and Tablets. His international workshops in locations like Scotland, Ireland, and the Caribbean showcase his commitment to sharing photography skills globally.
Thad extends his passion for photography inclusively, leading sessions for those with disabilities and for students with attention and discipline issues. His innovative ideas and Apple certification contribute to his role as the lead photography instructor for Project CLEO at Monument Mountain Region High School.
Thad’s commitment to education extends to a forthcoming book project, “Photographs I could have taken but did not,” set for release in February 2024. Equipped with a range of cameras, from the Canon EOS 1Dx to homemade pinhole cameras, Thad also remains an active professional photographer, contributing to national and international businesses and agencies like Getty Images and Adobe Stock.
