Boston Waterfront Skyline Sunset Shoot

Join our photo lessons at Waterfront Skyline Shoot, which is one of the excellent locales in the rotation of many Boston venues that offer terrific photo opportunities.

The Boston Waterfront is one of the most beautiful, exciting, and enriching locations in all of Boston.  Relaxing along the marina, you can gaze at the Boston skyline where the skyscrapers lay reflected in the water, strolling along the wharf, you can visit the New England Aquarium or the Boston Children’s Museum, two of Boston’s greatest venues, and standing by the Harbor, you can be overcome by the history and stories of the waterfront.  After all, this was the site of the Boston Tea Party!  So join your Digital Photo Academy instructor to experience the history and culture of the amazing Boston Waterfront!

The Waterfront offers a variety of subjects to shoot and styles to shoot in.  Experiment with new angles in colonial and modern architecture, combine nature with urban life in the Harbor’s reflection, and shoot portraits of local fishermen.

Capture endearing candids of children playing along the marina and action shots of cars zooming past historical landmarks.

Shooting alongside a professional photographer, you will learn new techniques that foster a strong image.  Practice leading lines along the marina, apply the rule of thirds to architectural angles, and boost the colors found in Boston’s skyline.

Learn how to utilize clouds as your backdrop and blur or enhance the reflection of the skyscrapers in the water.

We will meet outside of the New England Aquarium located at 1 Central Wharf, Boston, MA 02110.  Please bring your DSLR or another type of digital camera that you use, a fully-charged battery, and the equipment that you can carry.  You should dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
