Jennifer Humphreys is an award-winning wildlife and nature photographer based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. A seven-time blue ribbon winner in the Dallas Professional Photographers Association’s “In-Camera Artistry” (RAW) competition, she has built a reputation for getting it right in the camera — no shortcuts, no heavy editing, just skill.
A former high school photography teacher with several years of classroom experience, Jennifer’s proudest teaching credential may be coaching a student to a state championship in photography — proof that she doesn’t just make compelling images, she knows how to help others make them too.
Her camera has taken her across the globe, with field experience spanning Ecuador, Costa Rica, Alaska, Scotland, Ireland, Portugal, England, and the Caribbean, and this fall she heads to Tanzania to photograph the Great Migration.
A dedicated Canon shooter and active member of the Professional Photographers of America, Jennifer is currently pursuing her Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) credential. Her work has been featured in gallery showings throughout the DFW area, and her teaching style blends technical precision with warm encouragement — helping photographers of every level find their “aha” moment in the field.
