Garfield Park Conservatory
Garfield Park Conservatory
Venue Description:
In 1907, the visionary mind behind Chicago’s West Side crafted what was known as a Pleasure Ground—Garfield Park. Today, it stands as a picturesque haven, offering warmth in the depths of winter and a burst of life in other seasons. Should you brave the cold, commence your photographic journey by capturing patterns, shapes, and reflections on the outer glass structure.
Within the class, your Digital Photo Academy instructor will impart techniques for stabilizing your camera without relying on a tripod, enabling you to capture the essence of the waterfall. Alternatively, point your lens in any direction within the magnificent growing room to seize the rich hues of a diverse array of flora. Express your creativity by focusing on the various cacti in the Desert Room, producing imaginative abstractions that will linger in memory.
