Golden Gate Park
Golden Gate Park
Join our photo lessons in Golden Gate Park, which is one of the excellent locales in the rotation of many San Francisco venues that offer terrific photo opportunities.
Venue Description:
Golden Gate Park is a photographer’s playground, offering a rich variety of scenes and subjects all within walking distance. From serene landscapes and iconic architecture to hidden gardens and lively human moments, this sprawling urban oasis offers opportunities for every photographic interest—landscape, street, architectural detail, environmental portraiture, and more.
Along the way, your DPA instructor will guide you through techniques to elevate your compositions, whether you’re framing reflections on a quiet pond, capturing patterns in a Japanese garden, or playing with light and shadow in the grand Conservatory of Flowers. You’ll explore how to use leading lines, balance, repetition, and depth to turn everyday scenes into frame-worthy images.
Meeting Spot:
Meet at the Conservatory of Flowers entrance in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.
100 John F. Kennedy Dr, San Francisco, CA 94118

Call Digital Photo Academy at 1 877 372 2231. Lots of people seem to hang up if our welcome recording comes on instead of a live voice, but we promise to return your message within a day or two if you leave one with your name and number. It would be even better if you included your e mail address as well as the date and city of the class you are considering. If leaving a voice mail message is not your thing, please email us at DPAbooking@digitalphotoacademy.com or Richard@digitalphotoacademy.com.
