Isaias Deleon

Isaias discovered his passion for photography in a high school digital class, where he was inspired to capture the beauty of classic nature scenes like flowers, insects, and macro photography. Over time, his interests expanded to include architecture, street photography, and other creative pursuits. His passion for visual storytelling was also influenced by his love of cinema, especially horror films such as Blue Velvet, The Thing, The Matrix, and Parasite.

Recognizing his talent, Isaias’ parents gifted him his first camera, a Nikon D5100, on his 18th birthday. This camera became a constant companion throughout college, where he honed his skills in photography and videography. He grew skilled enough to teach others the art of photography, videography, and the mechanics of cameras and cell phones.

In 2017, Isaias launched Montrose Studios, showcasing his commercial and professional work. His portfolio includes collaborations with notable clients such as standup comedian and rapper Chingo Bling, with his work featured in promotional posters, newspapers, and online platforms. Alongside his professional endeavors, he pursued commissions for portraits, family photos, special events, and weddings, becoming a trusted photographer for cultural celebrations like Chinese New Year and Pakistani weddings.

Travel has also been a source of inspiration for Isaias, with experiences spanning Germany, Mexico, and destinations across the United States. Locally, he finds creative energy at the Museum of Fine Arts, photographing patrons lost in thought as they admire the artwork.

Today, Isaias shares his expertise by teaching others and helping them develop their own creative voices through photography and videography.
