Snoqualmie
Snoqualmie has a long and important history dating back to the Indian Wars, the Industrial Revolution, and the Great Depression. One significant contribution to Snoqualmie is its railway system, now part of the Northwest Railway Museum. But that’s not all. Snoqualmie has phenomenal natural beauties, from waterfalls to mountain scapes, attracting skiiers and rafters to take in the adventure and majesty of the town. Join your Digital Photo Academy instructor Jeff Greene to photograph the nature, industry, and town of Snoqualmie.
A photo walk in Snoqualmie will allow you to take a wide variety of photos in an array of different styles to add to your portfolio. Capture the mist collecting above the waterfalls, old train cars resting on their tracks, and the slow decay of metals but the pride of the town.
Photographing with a professional photographer gives you the unique opportunity to learn classroom techniques in a setting in which you can implement them immediately. Learn about, and use, depth of field, the rule of thirds, and leading lines in your photographs, and experiment with color, close-ups, and contrast as you photograph nature, street, and commercial scenes.
We will meet outside of the Northwest Railway Museum, located at 38625 SE King Street, Snoqualmie, WA 98065. Please bring your DSLR or another type of digital camera that you use, a fully-charged battery, and the equipment that you can carry. You should dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
Call Digital Photo Academy at 1 877 372 2231. Lots of people seem to hang up if our welcome recording comes on instead of a live voice, but we promise to return your message within a day or two if you leave one with your name and number. It would be even better if you included your e mail address as well as the date and city of the class you are considering. If leaving a voice mail message is not your thing, please email us at [email protected] or [email protected].
