Sunset Shoot from Ben Franklin Bridge

On the Ben Franklin Bridge Walkways, pedestrians and photo enthusiasts can spend as much time as they wish gathering photos from this high level. But Digital Photo Academy is enhancing the likelihood of making portfolio worthy images by scheduling a class during sunset. Your Digital Photo Academy Instructor will guide you with techniques to capture the golden hues of the close of the day and help you to balance the scene with the river as well as skyscrapers such as the Comcast Center, One Liberty place, and other fixtures in the Philadelphia skyline. After the sun sets there will also be lessons we call “Painting With Light,” a method of photography that relies on long exposures to render quasi-psychedelic streaks in the images you make. Part serendipity, part mastering your camera controls, the effects are wonderful.

Call Digital Photo Academy at 1 877 372 2231. Lots of people seem to hang up if our welcome recording comes on instead of a live voice, but we promise to return your message within a day or two if you leave one with your name and number.  It would be even better if you included your e mail address as well as the date and city of the class you are considering.  If leaving a voice mail message is not your thing, please email us at [email protected] or [email protected].
