Tina M. Daniels
Tina M. Daniels is a pro photographer based in Lapeer, Michigan. She began her photography journey six years ago after receiving her first camera as a birthday gift and quickly developed a deep passion for capturing the beauty of the natural world. From that moment, she was hooked on landscape and nature photography, while also skilled in a variety of other photographic genres. She is deeply inspired by the textures, patterns, and lines that exist naturally in nature.
One of her goals as an African American female photographer has been to illustrate the beauty and diversity of nature and its surrounding landscapes. She uses this complexity of texture to capture and portray nature’s natural highlights and contrasts in an artistically creative way, telling nature’s rich and layered story.
Her work has been featured in multiple exhibitions with the Lapeer Area Photography Club at Gallery 194 in Lapeer, Michigan, including Open Entry (2019, 2024), Flowers (2020), Birds (2021), and Wild Things (2025). In addition, her photography has been selected for the Ascension Health System Mission Team Southeast Calendar (2021) and the Mission Values Connection Tool. In 2023, multiple pieces of her work were accepted for display in the new Cardiac Intensive Care Unit lobby at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.
Tina is also actively involved in the photography community as a member of the Lapeer Area Photography Club and the East Side Camera Club in Macomb County. She has earned competition ribbons through the GDCCC in Color Creative, Monochrome, and Nature categories.
She has contributed her photography through volunteer work, donating images for the 2021 Ascension Mission Calendar (2020) and the Mission Values Connection Tool (2021).
Her work can be found online through Whiskey Birch Studios on Instagram and Facebook, as well as on her Fine Art America page.
She is excited to bring her knowledge and experience to teach Digital Photo Academy students of all skill levels!

Happy Sunday! I just want to report that I had the best class ever! I’m going to Best Buy right now for a new memory card. Pat and Tina are wonderful – I called my husband as soon as I got to the car to say I had a private lesson with two pros – luckiest woman ever right here!!
Thank you again for helping me get back on my camera feet!
