Join our photo lessons in the City of Beacon which is one of the excellent locales in the rotation of many Hudson Valley venues that offer terrific photo opportunities.
Venue Description:
Join us for a photography workshop in the vibrant, historic town of Beacon, where we’ll explore its unique blend of art, architecture, and natural beauty along the Hudson River. This workshop covers a range of photography techniques, from capturing still life compositions with natural lighting to experimenting with shutter speed for dynamic riverfront and street scenes.
We’ll dive into environmental portraiture, street photography, and architectural photography, guiding you through Beacon’s charming streets, including East Main with its waterfall backdrop. Finally, our session will take us to Hudson Beach Glass Gallery—a former fire station—where you’ll learn how to combine colors for compelling indoor and outdoor compositions.
