Venue Description:

Gatorland, on Orange Blossom Trail in Kissimmee, is a wildlife photographer’s paradise, with literally hundreds of gators and crocodiles you can photograph from safe walkways in the park. In addition to portfolio worthy images of the alligators, you can get great closeup shots of other creatures such as bobcats and flamingos, as well as lots of colorful flowers and landscape settings.   The raised boardwalk in the “breeding marsh” area park offers close up and spectacular opportunities to photograph these animals in a natural setting.    For those who enjoy a bit of fun, there is a “Jumperoo” show, where the gators are enticed, with a dangled piece of chicken, to leap out of the water for a snack.

Parking is free and there is small ($15) charge by Gatorland, for our DPA students (who show a FL driver’s license/i.d.).
