  1. “I learned a lot on Sunday! And there’s still a ton more to learn, and to practice!

I met up with a friend afterward for lunch and took a few photos of him, and some art on the walls. He then posted that photo to Facebook and got over 100 “likes,” which he had never gotten that many “likes” before. It made me feel good!

Hope you’re having a GREAT week!”

    – Leigh

Your enthusiasm is contagious, your patience appreciated and your willingness to spend time with each of us individually made this whole experience an enjoyable and learning one. White balance? Who knew!! I never gave it much thought…until now.”

I look forward to seeing you soon in a Field Composition class.

    Take care and safe travels”

  8. “Thank you so much, Jen! Hope to see you again, also, at one of your scheduled photo shoots! I was outside in the front yard yesterday about 4 p.m., using as much as I could remember (unfortunately, my notes were inside) from our class last Saturday…just taking lots of pictures of our new, little dogwood and serviceberry trees and a much larger, older dogwood (especially close-ups of its beautiful flowers), and our flowering pink azaleas…trying different settings, angles, etc. I think that most of them turned out well. I need to look at them online to know for sure, but I was very enthusiastic about taking the pictures and happy about almost all of them!

Jen, thank you for everything you have shared with me and taught me! You are the finest of teachers, EVER!

    Take good care.”

    – Rita

I was trying to tell my husband the one thing that I learned that was most impactful, and I couldn’t come up with just one! I am going to shoot “M” from now on and I hope I get to learn from you again someday. You are an awesome instructor; felt like the class was 1 on 1. Thanks again!”
