Larry Edward Smith

A passionate, self-taught artist, Larry Edward Smith has been photographing since childhood. Over the years, his love for photography has grown into a dedicated practice that combines creativity, curiosity, and a strong eye for detail.

He now runs two photography businesses: The Outdoors Photographer, which focuses on capturing light, color, and moments in nature, and Larry Edward Smith Photography, which specializes in portrait work. His portrait clients include business professionals, media members, and performing artists.

Larry’s work will soon be featured in exhibitions around the country, including at Cathedral Ridge Winery in Hood River, Oregon.

He enjoys sharing what he’s learned over the years and looks forward to working with students of all experience levels. From landscapes and wildlife to street portraiture and studio lighting, Larry is excited to help others explore a wide range of photographic subjects.
