Marc Solis

Marc is a seasoned photographer with a decade of experience in the field. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Photography from Kent State University in 2022. Throughout his time taking pictures, Marc has focused on capturing various subjects including cityscapes, landscapes, macrophotography, sports, amusement parks, and astrophotography.

Outside of photography, Marc enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and playing baseball during the summer months. His passion for baseball extends beyond playing; he frequently documents his team’s games and shares the images on their Instagram page, FlyingSquirrelsIG. Additionally, Marc is also an avid supporter of the Cleveland Guardians and Cleveland Browns (though he typically refrains from bringing his camera to sporting events)!

Marc‘s background in high school baseball has profoundly influenced his approach to teaching photography—he greatly values the life lessons instilled in him by his former coach. He emphasizes the importance of teamwork, stressing that placing the team’s objectives above personal interests leads to greater success. Marc also advocates for supporting teammates rather than hoping for their failure, emphasizing the detrimental effects of selfish behavior on team cohesion. Moreover, he cherishes the lesson on time management learned from his coach, recognizing time as a valuable resource that must be utilized effectively to achieve goals.

With a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to imparting valuable lessons, Marc is dedicated to providing insightful guidance as a photography instructor at Digital Photo Academy
