Comments to “Miami”

  1. “I enjoyed the workshop, although I do photography for many years always you learn or refresh something. Kelsa is very knowledgeable and clear, and is a well mannered and is a pleasure to be with her. Thank you”

    -Sarkis Anac

  2. “Excellent experience. Excellent instructor.”

    -Omar

  3. “Bought this for my teenage daughter. We also signed her up for the class on mastering your camera, which was timely as she just received a new Canon 80D for her birthday and the class was a better ‘how-to’ lesson than reading the instruction booklet alone. The composition in the field class was a good experience, and she’s learned techniques and she can immediately apply, giving her more confidence as a photographer.”

    -Anne

  4. “I bought this as a gift for my stepdad and he had a wonderful time, learned a lot, and enjoyed being in a new environment. He took some great photos!”

    -Katherine

  5. “I bought this for my son, who has a fair amount of experience already. He LOVED it! He told me that the instructor, Michelle, was great and taught him some new techniques and theories about shooting pictures. He tried it out and showed me the pictures, and they were amazing. He also loved the location: Vizcaya, but definitely wants to go again. I highly recommend for anyone interested in photography and trying new things.”

    -Fred Taubman

  6. “Michelle
Thanks for a wonderful day at Vizcaya.
You asked to see some of my images, so, here they are
    Thanks”

    -Alan Wiener

  7. “Richard!

My session with Michelle today was amazing. She is fantastic and I felt comfortable asking her anything and she gave me a lot of basic tips that I could use to really enhance my product photography. I LOVED HER! Many praises from all of here at B’LIVINN. Michelle and I plan to keep in touch but I wanted to thank you for your help as well.”

    -AJ

  8. “It was great. Kelsa is knowledgeable and patient and I learned a lot. ”

  10. “What a pleasure it was today with Mr. Gatz! Totally made up for the first experience. He is very knowledgable and experienced. Highly satisfied.

    Thanks!”

    -Jessenia Bovell

  11. “Yes, Richard. I did enjoy the class. Thank you for the positive feedback. It was blazing hot that day. I took the composition handout and gave it to our journalism teacher because I thought it would be an excellent primer for our first-year students”

    -Cristina Ramirez

  12. “The class was great! Bernardo was a wonderful teacher; very knowledgable about cameras, composition and the art of photography as well. He patiently explained the camera, and then worked with me to master all the functions and different buttons as we walked around. I stayed for the Composition in the Field portion of the class and found the experience to be very valuable. Getting the chance to compose my own pictures and then show them to Bernardo for feedback was a good way to get feedback on how to improve aspects of each shot- be it composition, changing the exposure or even using the flash in some cases.

I’m more than satisfied with my day spent learning more about photography, it has definitely encouraged me to get out there and shoot more! Once I get the chance to put my photos on the computer I’ll send some your way to show you what we accomplished!

    Best Regards,”

    -Chris Thome

  13. “After taking both your intermediate and advanced classes, not only have I learned a great deal about photography, technique, and process, but your classes have sparked my interest and made me want to learn more. While on safari in Africa, I was able to utilize what I learned from you and my photographs turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I am even more passionate about digital photography than I was before and I have recommended your classes to many people!

Attached are a few of my shots from Saturday morning. You are a great teacher and I’d love to take more classes with you!”

    – Blake Roberts

  14. “Matt Trask recently joined Michael Thoennes and other Advanced students in Miami for a great sunrise shoot.”

    – Matthew Trask

  15. “I just completed the advanced DPA class with Michael Thoennes. This is my second class and this one was certainly as rewarding as the previous if not more. I loved the field shooting better this time around. Michael is a great instructor and has really helped me develop my style with these two classes. I’m VERY interested in taking more advanced classes.. The topic I would love to see are Studio Lighting (portrait/model).”

    – Matt Winer

  16. “This was my first advanced class and I loved it. Michael Thoennes is a great intructor and the field shooting was awesome. I would definetely be interested in participating in future advanced classes.”

    – Christina Voswinckel

  17. “The class was great. I truly enjoy small groups. The venue was very different than what I had expected from the class. It was a wonderful opportunity to explore a new place, excellent coordination. Michael was excellent and provided guidance, suggestions, and many ideas that helps the students to think (or take pictures) totally out of the box.”

    -Yvonne Debesa

  18. “I really enjoyed your class on Sunday.”

    – Jo
