Noël de Christián
Noël de Christián
Born in 1961 to Spanish parents and raised in Miami, Florida, Noël de Christián grew up surrounded by the warmth, color, and energy of the tropics. His Portuguese, Spanish, French, and Irish heritage, along with a lifelong love of travel, has shaped how he sees the world and continues to influence his photographic vision.
Although he has worked in other artistic mediums, photography has always been his true passion. Noël began photographing in the mid-1980s after buying a camera on a whim and learning through trial and error, shooting on film and eagerly waiting for each roll to return from the lab. Those early experiences—sometimes successful, sometimes not—taught him the fundamentals and sparked a lasting love for photography.
While earning a degree in Marketing, he immersed himself in photography books and coursework, which led to his first professional assignments. He quickly built a portfolio of headshots, portraits, and weddings. In the early 1990s, he opened Vizuel Images, a studio in Coral Gables, Florida, where he worked extensively with emerging models.
Over time, Noël’s focus shifted toward landscape photography, allowing him to explore a more personal and expressive direction. By the early 2000s, his work was being exhibited in galleries throughout Florida and beyond, and has since been featured at Art Expo New York, Art Palm Beach, and Blink Art Resource in Cincinnati.
In 2019, Noël realized a longtime goal by opening his own photography gallery in Hollywood, Florida. While the physical gallery is no longer operational, his work continues to be showcased and sold through his website, where he shares a curated collection of landscape photography inspired by the beauty of the natural world.
He is excited to share his knowledge and insights with students, helping them explore their own creative vision through photography.
