Lincoln Road
Join our photo lessons at Lincoln Road, which is one of the excellent locales in the rotation of many Miami venues that offer terrific photo opportunities.
Venue Description:
Lincoln Road is one of the most photogenic streets in Miami. On a beautiful, sunny day, Lincoln Road is bustling with tourists and locals alike out for a stroll, enjoying a sumptious meal, or shopping in the wide variety of stores. So join your Digital Photo Academy instructor and enjoy the palm trees and the brightly-colored umbrellas that line the pedestrian walkways.
So what about Lincoln Road makes it so photogenic? All of the bright colors, the beautiful people, the rows of palm trees, the clustered buildings…basically everything! Photographing on Lincoln Road then gives you all of these amazing opportunities to capture stunning images, from architectural shots to street photography to portraits of dog walkers and their dogs to wide-angle shots of the whole scene.
Shooting alongside a professional photographer out in the field will give you the unique opportunity to learn new compositional techniques and then experiment with them. Practice leading lines to draw attention to different parts of a column like those in this Lincoln Road parking lot, change your angle for a new take on an old storefront, and manipulate your ISO to brighten or darken an area without changing your aperture or shutter speed.
Meeting Spot:
We will meet next to the sculptures in the first photograph on the corner of Lincoln Road and Washington Avenue, Miami, FL. Please bring your DSLR or another type of digital camera that you use, a fully-charged battery, and the equipment that you can carry. You should dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.

Call Digital Photo Academy at 1 877 372 2231. Lots of people seem to hang up if our welcome recording comes on instead of a live voice, but we promise to return your message within a day or two if you leave one with your name and number. It would be even better if you included your e mail address as well as the date and city of the class you are considering. If leaving a voice mail message is not your thing, please email us at [email protected].
